Cafe Superstar Recordings

I started my first record company entitled Cafe2001 (a record company) in 2000. Although we only released a handful of albums, two of the compilations titled "This Is the Café Superstar Beat 1 & 2" featured primarily Norwegian bands with a style similar to my own. These compilations generated significant interest in the international indie scene. Unfortunately, Cafe2001 closed down in 2004.

In 2006, I co-founded (and currently oversee) the Norwegian indie-pop label 'Cafe Superstar Recordings,' which received a flying kick-start when the label's initial release with the band Splaxxter Watts was nominated for a Norwegian Grammy. Since then, we have released music from bands such as Remington Super 60, Musique Le Pop, Frode Fivel, among others.
