Remington Super 60

I founded Remington Super 60 in 1998, armed with just a small Casio keyboard, an affordable microphone, and my very first computer. I had the pleasure of collaborating with the talented Benedicte Sveinsson. With this modest setup, we recorded our initial two songs, which eventually found their way onto a 7” vinyl on the esteemed Myke Droner label. This release garnered significant attention in the global indie scene, leading to the acquisition of an extensive collection of Casio keyboards, the addition of another key member (Magnus Abelsen), and several releases on various indie labels worldwide. Remington Super 60 even found some popularity within the Japanese indie scene. After 2006, the releases became less frequent, but I periodically revive the project, often partnering with Elisabeth Thorsen. The most recent offering was the mini-album "Nouvelle Nouveau" in 2021. In 2007, we also had the honor of receiving a tribute album, featuring interpretations and remixes of our music by other artists.

Musique Le Pop

In 2012, I co founded Musique Le Pop with my friend Jon Kristian Furuheim, also known as Safariari, and Elisabeth Thorsen. Together, we released three singles and one EP. Our single "Turn To Sand" garnered rave reviews in the blogosphere and was even feature d in the US indie film "6 Years." It has since amassed over 1,300,000 plays on Spotify.

Previous projects

Navigators

Between 2009 and 2011, I had the pleasure of playing the guitar in the Norwegian rock band Navigators that I co-founded. During that period, Navigators enjoyed significant success in Norway. Navigators released albums and singles that found their way onto the charts and performed sold-out shows all across the country.

Doopy

I started my journey in the commercial music scene with the indie band Doopy. Back in 1996, Doopy signed a contract with BMG and released an album called "Game Set Match." We were one of the indie bands at the time embracing a Britpop style, and this led to a lot of coverage in all the major newspapers and music magazines in Norway aswell as album sales.
